Welcome to tense neck and shoulders in this video, I’m going to share with you five step stretches that will release the tension from the tight neck and shoulders hello. My name is Jimmy today, I’ll make sure you feel better after stretching with me. So please watch as I demonstrate all the great stretches. Let’s get started so we’re going to start with a gentle next stretch. First, so sit up straight, keep your shoulders down and relax and let’s bring your right ear to your right.
Shoulder in slowly turn your nose down towards the floor in slowly turn your nose up towards the sky and turn your nose down towards the floor and turn your nose up towards the sky and bring your head up. Let’s do the other side again. Keep your shoulders down and relaxed here left ear to your left, shoulder to get a good stretch from your right shoulder in your neck turn your nose done towards the floor and turn your nose up towards the sky. Turn your nose down towards the floor and turn your nose up towards the sky and slow. You bring your head up good now, let’s do another shoulders and neck stretch.
Turn your right leg out to the side. Put your right hand by your foot, bring your left arm up, inhale and exhaling slowly arch over to your right. Good. Now put your left arm around your waist okay and keep your left shoulder down and relax here, and I want you to drop your head down. Let’s get a good stretch from your left shoulder and your neck.
If you like to get a little bit more stretch, you can kinda nod your head gently to get a little bit more stretch here and slowly come back good, sit cross-legged! Now, let’s turn your left leg out to the side. Put your left hand by your foot, bring your right arm up, inhale and exhaling slowly arch over to your left. Turn a put your arm around your waist and drop your head down heavy see how you feel on this side. Keep your right shoulder down and relax here, feeling a good stretch through your neck and shoulder and let’s slowly come up and sit cross-legged now the next one.
Let’S sit up straight and let’s twist to your right. So if you like to get a little bit more stretch through your neck, you can use your hand to help twist a little bit more and return and twist your left again. You can use your hand to help and return again turn to your right and return again turn to your left. Every time now from here, slowly drop your head down heavy, let’s feel the heaviness of your head and the stretch of your back neck and slowly. Let’s roll okay to your right and all the way back and your left and forward into your right all the way back to left and forward, and let’s go to the other direction to your left, all the way tree, all right and forward, and one more time Same direction and slowly come back and take a nice breath now, let’s put your feet together.
Grab your toes with your hands, sit up straight. Take your right elbow in towards your ribs and slowly lean to your right wrist, your right shoulder or the back of your right shoulder on your knee and let’s keep your left shoulder down and relax. Let’s get a good stretch from your left, shoulder and your neck and slowly come back and tuck your left elbow and lean to your left and let’s get a good stretch from your right, shoulder and yet neck here in flow to come up and bring your right Elbow and lean to your right, let your head be heavy and slow. You return tuck your left elbow in and lean to your left feeling a great stretch from your right shoulder and your neck and let’s slowly come up and take a nice breath here now. Let’s go to another stretch, okay, so let’s get into your knees and hands on the floor.
So, let’s round your back like a cat, I want you to keep your back rounded. Let’s cut your right ear to your right, shoulder to get a good stretch from your left shoulder and your neck good, and let’s cut your left ear to your left, shoulder and return. That’s your right ear to your right, shoulder to get a good stretch through your left, shoulder and your neck and let’s touch a left ear to your left, shoulder and slowly return. Now we’re going to go to another neck stretch. Let’s put your finger tips outside of the mount put your forehead on the floor point your elbows up towards the sky from here.
I want you to roll your head to your right. All the way to your temple keep your elbows up towards the sky and flow Dimitra roll to your left. All the way to your temple gently stretching your neck. This way and slowly reach our roll to your right and return and roll to your left.
